About the Job

We're looking for a talented Store Manager for the Byron Bay Salvos who loves retail, loves a challenge, and loves waking up each day with a passion for making a difference. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers, ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction, and embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of employees and volunteers to achieve sales and service goals
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and volunteers
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and sales performance
  • Manage the financial performance of the store, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Build and maintain relationships with the local community and volunteer workforce

About You

We're looking for someone with excellent people leadership and management abilities, who is an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar industry is not essential, but you will need to possess a proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
