About This Role
  • We're seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to lead the transition from Java 17 to Java 21.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver production-ready applications following migration to Java 21.
  • Implement Jakarta CDI, driving strategic shift away from Spring.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders during UAT, resolving deployment issues.
  • Manage database migration using Flyway, ensuring seamless release cycles.
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to agile delivery practices using Jira, Confluence, and Git (Bitbucket).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise Java development (Java 17 / 21).
  • Strong knowledge of Jakarta CDI, Hibernate / JPA, JSF, Spring Security, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Flyway for database migration and automation.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver solutions in agile teams.
