Transforming lives is at the heart of our work at Children's Ground. We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Men's Health Promotion Officer to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of children, families, and communities. As a Men's Health Promotion Officer, you will be working closely with children and families to deliver our Family Health & Wellbeing Model – Health in the Hands of the People.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to improving health and wellbeing outcomes through effective delivery of our Family Health & Wellbeing Model.
  • Work with children and families in early learning and outside learning sessions, as well as home/community visits and outreach strategies.
  • Empower First Nations families by valuing their ideas, strategies, and aspirations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local First Nations people and elders to inform the direction of the role.

We're looking for someone with experience working with First Nation people and communities, as well as a minimum 2 years' experience in Health Promotion or a related field. You should possess strong people skills, including teamwork, communication, and collaboration, as well as strong organisational skills with knowledge of online ordering and systems.
