Job Overview

As a high-level asphalt production professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the asphalt plant. This includes managing production schedules to meet client requirements and working closely with laboratory teams to ensure all asphalt mixes meet quality standards.


Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the safe and efficient daily operation of the asphalt plant.
  • Manage production schedules to meet client and project requirements.
  • Work closely with laboratory teams to ensure all asphalt mixes meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct plant inspections and coordinate routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Supervise and support a small team of operators and loaders, ensuring compliance with all safety and OHS requirements.
  • Coordinate raw material deliveries and asphalt dispatch, working closely with transport and project managers.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in asphalt production or heavy plant operations is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required, with the ability to mentor and support a team.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are necessary for diagnosing and fixing issues on the fly.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards is mandatory.
  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands is crucial.
