Job Title: Foreign Exchange Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreign Exchange Specialist to join our team. This role will involve managing the company's day-to-day currency positions, arising from its money transfer and business payments products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage FX risk by hedging client trade activity with foreign exchange bank counterparties within prescribed interest rate and currency risk limits.
  • Quote FX prices across multiple products, and structure option contracts for the Sales team.
  • Complete operational functions including: FX option, spot, swap, and forward deal execution, entry of trade data into the Treasury risk management system, exotic currency booking and return processing.
  • Manage daily and ad hoc reporting activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and foreign exchange instruments, including FX forwards, and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of complex Option strategies.
  • Aptitude for flawless execution, attention to detail, precise communication, and aptitude for operational processes in a diverse set of currency exposures, high volumes, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skillset, and interest or experience in data management and entry-level coding.
  • Programming knowledge would be an advantage - VBA, Python, SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Aptitude to formulate suggestions to address complicated financial risk scenarios.
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related subject is preferred but not essential, likewise any further education (e.g. MBA).
