Chief Drama Officer

As a Lead Drama Educator, you will be responsible for fostering a stimulating environment where students thrive academically and through performances. You will lead our exceptional Drama program by developing curriculum frameworks, assessment documentation, policy statements, booklists, scopes, and sequences to guide detailed curriculum creation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development: Prepare and update curriculum documents to guide teachers in classroom management, pedagogy, schedules, and assessments.
2. Staff and Student Allocation: Assist and advise teachers on classroom allocation while ensuring fair distribution of resources.
3. Assessment Oversight: Oversee assessment quality, benchmarking, report structures, and exam administration, including paper preparation and determining awards and subject suitability for students.
4. Professional Representation: Represent the Drama department at professional meetings and promote best practices in occupational health and safety.
5. Resource Management: Oversee teaching rooms, equipment, and resources, recommending new purchases to enhance resource availability.
