About the Role

We are seeking a skilled School Nurse for a six-month maternity leave cover to provide critical support within our Care Centre clinic.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the health and safety of students, as well as administering medications and supporting the implementation of policies and procedures.

Additionally, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining medical equipment and supplies, and facilitating changes to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors.
  2. Administer and manage S8 medications to students.
  3. Support implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
  4. Maintain medical equipment and stock supplies in the Care Centre.
  5. Facilitate improvements to service delivery through audits, feedback, and regular meetings.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a current registration to practise (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to receive feedback and implement changes, and have the ability to effectively plan for, collect, and analyze data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve outcomes.

A current Employee Working With Children Check is also required.
