Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the overall IT strategy and architecture of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mapping/discovery of business capabilities/products & services required for assigned domain
  • Definition of Strategy/Roadmap for products and services for assigned domain
  • Definition of Products in conjunction with Product Owners
  • Solution Architecture (as needed) for targeted initiatives
  • Ensuring the collection of services defined by the domains in the tower delivers a desired experience outcome

Working closely with stakeholders to define the desired outcome and prioritization of roadmap work. Participate in New Initiative Level 2 Triage.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate the organisation's future position on technology-related trends
  • Outlines organisational implications associated with major IT trends
  • Creates cohesive IT architecture applications for information and platforms and produces solution outlines and migration paths for moving from baseline state to target state
  • Oversees the compliance of IT architecture principles for an organisation and uses enterprise architecture to obtain and use information relevant to the solution
  • Directs the discussion of issues and considerations for adopting an open architecture

Consulting on planning, integrating and migrating IT architecture and describes the contents of deliverables for a specific phase of solution architecture. Develops, maintains, communicates and provides IT architecture solutions based on business and technical requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Tertiary or equivalent qualification/s in relevant technical fields
  • Experience with formal architectural methods such as TOGAF
  • 10+ years experience in domain/enterprise/solution/technology architecture space in a large organisation, preferably in the financial industry
