  • General Farm Management: Manage the daily operations of a dairy cattle farm with limited supervision from farm owners.
  • Pasture and Milk Production Management: Oversee general operation management, pasture management, milk harvesting, feeding management, administrative tasks, and general maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team or group and ability to train new members of the team.

Requirements for Success:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in agriculture or higher equivalent qualification.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years recent relevant work experience.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Animal Husbandry Knowledge: Advanced knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare, and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S.
  • Computer Literacy: Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.

  • Full-time Position: Full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises.
