**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Dairy Farm Supervisor to join our production team in South Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dairy production and three years of recent experience in the industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and coordinate milk production processes, including milking shed routines and reproductive programs
- Assist in controlled breeding experiments to develop improved livestock strains
- Implement calving procedures, pastures, and crops for livestock production
- Supervise animal health programs, staff performance, and quality assurance procedures
**Requirements:**
AQF Certificate III in Agriculture/Dairy Production is essential for this role. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also required. A strong understanding of farm and dairy shed-related vehicles, plant, and equipment is also necessary.
**Wellbeing and Compliance:**
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of livestock and compliance with Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines – Cattle.
**Working Conditions:**
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
