Job Description

This role involves overseeing the management of financial processes across multiple entities, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely financial information.

You will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reporting, as well as ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for all departments.
  • Produce accurate management accounts on a monthly basis to the agreed timetable.
  • Carry out variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior month with written commentaries.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained.
  • Manage month-end regulatory reporting for all entities.
  • Receive and organise payments of supplier invoices.
  • Authorise payroll, client, and supplier payments on banking platforms.
  • Maintain and develop appropriate financial control procedures to ensure accurate recording of transactions in the Company's financial reporting systems.
  • Coordinate and manage year-end statutory audit.
  • Prepare end-of-year statutory accounts for entities and assist with auditors' queries and deliverables.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) with a proven track record.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly and build relationships across different departments and seniority levels.
  • Technical Excel skills are strong, and you're comfortable working with various financial systems.
  • Strong month-end reporting and financial statements experience with the eligibility to work in Australia permanently.
