Job Opportunity: Regional Assurance Manager

About the Role

This position plays a vital role in building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and colleagues. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining strong connections with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Providing support and liaison services to clients.
  • Developing strategies with clients to ensure understanding of and adherence to plant export policies.
  • Fostering feedback mechanisms for clients and colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Authorised Officer Program and plant export policies.
  • Representing the Plant Export Operations Branch at various forums.
Key Responsibilities

Your key duties will include:

  1. Establishing and maintaining productive client relationships.
  2. Providing exceptional customer service and support.
  3. Developing and implementing strategic plans with clients.
  4. Ensuring compliance with plant export regulations and policies.
  5. Representing the organization at external events.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a valid Australian motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Meet physical requirements, including outdoor and office-based work.
  • Comply with departmental Work Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Be prepared for extensive travel within the state.
  • Participate in an on-call roster with restrictions.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge and experience in plant exports operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to analyze policies and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
