General Manager Specialty Retail North

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain solution process for the Specialty Retail sector in Northern Australia (NSW & QLD).

The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision for the sector and implement business plans that incorporate industry and customer needs to drive growth and returns for Toll.

This position is accountable for optimizing assets and capabilities across Toll to be an industry leader in providing supply chain solutions within this vertical sector.

This role reports directly to the Executive General Manager Retail/Consumer/Automotive in the Global Logistics Division.

  • Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the Specialty Retail sector with well-developed networks.
  • Sound experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management across all modes - warehousing, transport, freight forwarding.
  • Experience in business development and developing growth plans.
  • Experience in full P&L management and responsibility.
  • Experience in working in a matrix business environment.
  • Able to develop and mentor high-performing individuals and teams.
  • Awareness of ER/IR processes, including employee engagement and mitigation planning.
  • Understanding of COR legislation and associated responsibilities.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with significant experience in a senior leadership role, knowledge of the Specialty Retail sector, and sound experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
