Supply Chain Leadership Role

The role involves leading a team to establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking, developing policies to increase efficiency, and managing inventory supply and forecasting.

This includes establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain monitoring, creating strategies to enhance the supply chain's productivity and quality, and overseeing the management of inventory levels and demand forecasting.

Additionally, you will be responsible for assessing the performance of suppliers, collaborating with other departments to ensure their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish KPIs for supply chain monitoring
  • Develop strategies to enhance supply chain productivity and quality
  • Manage inventory levels and demand forecasting
  • Assess supplier performance and collaborate with other departments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in business or supply chain or related discipline
  • Experience within the rail, defense, transportation, or manufacturing industry is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery
  • Previous experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Maximo or SAP
