We are currently in search of a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expert to become a vital part of our evolving Cyber team in Brisbane.
Our Cyber & Technology division is undergoing remarkable expansion. We are highly regarded by our clients and frequently engaged to assist with intricate cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber incident response, and forensic technology challenges. Our team is hands-on, collaborating closely with clients to devise and implement practical solutions to complex problems. Given the nature of our work, we maintain composure, especially during crises, aiding clients in navigating high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and quantifying deficiencies in cyber resilience, maturity, or capability.
- Formulating and executing strategies and programs to address identified gaps or enhance governance capabilities.
- Evaluating and measuring compliance against standards such as ISO27001, NIST, CPS 234, or the ACSC Essential 8.
- Establishing cyber and privacy risk management and compliance frameworks, including for third-party entities as necessary.
- Preparing comprehensive written reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations, and presenting findings during client briefings.
- Managing engagement risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes across all projects.
- Safeguarding the confidentiality of client information and data.
- Continuously enhancing client relationships through exceptional service.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or relevant technical experience is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the technical facets of cybersecurity, information security, and privacy governance.
- Proven experience in executing Cyber Risk & Strategy initiatives, including the development of safety and awareness programs, conducting security risk assessments, and managing cybersecurity incident response scenarios.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ambitious, driven, and determined individual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional teamwork capabilities, a robust work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure.
