About the Role

Graduate Registered Nurses are invited to participate in an Aged Care Transition to Practice program with a leading provider of aged care services.

Location: Adelaide, South Australia

Job Details

This is a regular opportunity to join our team on a 1-year contract with a view to permanent employment. Roles are available as 0.8 FTE up to full-time hours undertaking weekday shifts; the graduate position does not include afternoon, night or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a structured training program with ANMEC.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality individualised nursing care to residents.
  • Collaborate with peers and other employees across the organisation to achieve resident goals.
  • Deliver treatment that centres around evidence-based care.
  • Help residents to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Supervise staff on the floor to ensure care delivered meets service standards and customer service expectations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.

All applicants must meet Eldercare's immunisation requirements, which include vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, in accordance with current ATAGI guidelines.
