In this role, you will be working closely with your colleagues to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of educators in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that meet the needs and interests of our children;
- Develop and maintain relationships with families, ensuring they feel welcome and valued in our community;
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that promote excellence in practice;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Centre policies;
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education;
- Contribute to the creation of a positive, respectful, and inclusive Centre culture that values diversity and promotes social justice.
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
