Job Title: Business Intelligence Analysts Needed for Data-Driven Insights

Overview
We are seeking two skilled Senior Data Analysts to join our team in the Australian Apprenticeships Program. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting business intelligence needs and driving data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support business intelligence needs of management and governance processes, as well as operational areas.
  2. Investigate the need for business intelligence reporting and analysis where there is complexity and ambiguity.
  3. Select and apply business intelligence tools and techniques to provide insights and aid decision making.
  4. Apply a variety of visualisation techniques and design the content and appearance of data visuals.
  5. Develop narratives around data sets to guide decision-making processes and enhance understanding of key insights.
  6. Develop business rules for integrating, consolidating, and cleaning data to restructure it for analytics, machine learning, and/or data mining.

Requirements
  1. Demonstrated experience in managing complex Business Intelligence and Data Visualisation projects.
  2. Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders to extract business requirements, collaborate during the project, and ensure that business requirements have been delivered.
  3. Curation of data extracted from a transactional SQL database to restructure the data for analytics, machine learning, and/or data mining.
  4. Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or closely related tools.
