About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated First and Third Engineer to join our team on the RSV Nuyina. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work, as well as performing duties in the engine room and around the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work on the vessel's engines and systems
  • Perform duties in the engine room and around the vessel, including assisting with training cadets if required
  • Meet all standards of competence and fulfill the functions in STCW A-III/1 relating to the engineering watch or designated duty engineer in a periodically unmanned engine room

Requirements:

  • AMSA-issued Certificate of Competency as Engineer Watchkeeper (Motor) with additional qualifications
  • Right to work in Australia and on an Australian flagged vessel
  • Appropriate seagoing experience in the previous three years
