Store Cleaning and Facilities Officer

At Coles Supermarkets, we're looking for a Store Team Member to join our team in an exciting role that's all about providing our customers with a safe, seamless and positive shopping experience. This is a key role where you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our stores are clean and welcoming for everyone.
As a Store Team Member (Cleaning and Trolley Collection), your responsibilities will include working through a checklist of cleaning tasks across all departments and throughout the store, using various equipment and products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub and buff floors throughout the shop as well as in our team rooms, toilets and offices. You'll also be responsible for collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark - whatever the weather. You'll work both indoors and outdoors and will be trusted to work autonomously.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace. You'll also need a keen eye for detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and demonstrate a solid work ethic. Additionally, you'll need to be physically fit, active and energetic, able to lift up to 17kgs. You'll be required to work shifts between the hours of 5am-11pm 7 days per week, and may need to get to work outside of public transport operating hours. Don't worry if you don't have prior experience - full training will be provided in the use of chemicals, machinery and safety equipment.
