Job Description:

As a Key Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff in a fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth delivery of customer service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  2. You will play a key role in determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer demand.
  3. You will order supplies, manage inventory, and minimize waste to optimize efficiency.
  4. You will formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including setting prices and promotions.
  5. You will promote and advertise our products through local marketing initiatives.
  6. You will sell products directly to customers and provide menu recommendations.
  7. You will maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions.
  8. You will prepare and monitor budgets to control costs and drive profitability.
  9. You will recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff to ensure exceptional service quality.
  10. You will ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.

Requirements :

  • You must have at least 3 years' experience in a food service management role.
  • You must possess strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage staff and operations effectively.
  • You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and motivate staff.
  • You must have proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and financial records.
  • You must have knowledge of food safety standards and WHS compliance.
  • A Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management will be highly regarded.
