About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team at the Possum Place Child Care Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to children, and contributing to the development of a contemporary and inclusive program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with children in interactions at activities and groups, providing support to assist children develop functional play skills and learning.
  • Active supervision of all children in all spaces, ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Participate in meetings to develop curriculums, critically reflect, and implement, and contribute to the development of a contemporary and inclusive program.
  • Collaborate with team members, families, and external services to provide appropriately tailored activities, and monitor and progress children's development.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Diploma of Children's Services or a related qualification, and a current NSW Department of Education and Communities approved child protection qualification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
