Role Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Senior Management Accountant.

">


    The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing treasury transactions, corporate reporting, annual auditing, budgeting and financial analysis while guiding their team to partner with stakeholders across our thriving retirement communities.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a senior accountant to lead the development of high-quality management reporting and analysis, collaborate closely with operational front-line teams and corporate stakeholders, and drive finance process improvements.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

">

    • Manage inter-entity cash movements between community (village) accounts and corporate accounts

">

    • Oversee deficit funding in Aveo villages, subsidies, and unbundling reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance

">

    • Lead the collation and analysis of budgets, including preparation of monthly variance reports

">

    • Coordinate annual audits, financial statements, and maintain relationships with external auditors

">

    • Maintain strong banking relationships and ensure all GST transactions are accurately recorded

">


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

">

    • A degree qualification in Accounting or Finance, with CA or CPA accreditation

">

    • 4+ years' finance experience, including financial analysis, accounting, leadership roles, or similar fields

">

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets

">

    • Strong stakeholder skills with the ability to influence across operational front-line teams and corporate stakeholders

">

    • A collaborative people leadership style with a focus on building your team's capability and engagement
