About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional housekeeping services to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents
  2. Work collaboratively with our team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  3. Assist with laundry and cleaning tasks as required
  4. Develop strong relationships with residents and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences
  5. Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture that values compassion, connection, and caring for others

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is highly desirable
  2. Chemical handling experience and knowledge is essential
  3. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
  4. Strong attention to detail and a high level of customer service skills
  5. Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
