Activities Manager

As a Leisure Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
This dynamic role requires a deep understanding of each resident's life before admission, encompassing their identity, culture, diversity, beliefs, and life experiences. Your responsibility will be to create individualized care plans that improve resident wellbeing by:
- Conducting thorough assessments of residents' needs, preferences, and capabilities
- Liaising with family members to ensure close relationships and informed decision-making
You will also design and plan individual activities aligned to resident interests and needs, working closely with the care team to ensure seamless implementation.
A key aspect of this role is promoting close relationships between residents, families, and carers, which involves:
- Compiling individual activity assessments and care plans in collaboration with families and carers
- Designing and displaying programs that inform residents, relatives, and employees of proposed activities
To excel in this position, you will require:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
