Geologist Assistant

This role offers hands-on experience and technical growth in a dynamic gold mining environment.

  • Assist with underground mapping, sampling, and data recording to minimize ore loss and increase geological understanding.
  • Perform stope and airleg inspections and assist with providing mining direction for optimal ore positioning.
  • Learn to manage ROM ore stockpile management and optimize blending into the Process Plant.
  • Report daily grade control activities and assist with diamond core processing tasks.
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology (essential)
  • A current C-class WA driver's licence
  • The ability to observe safety rules and regulations
  • Good physical health and organized self-motivation
  • Effective communication skills with staff at all levels
  • Vacation work experience within the mining industry is highly regarded
