Job Overview

This Casual People & Capabilities Support Officer role works closely with the People & Capability Executive Manager in delivering all facets of recruitment success throughout our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining job descriptions, preparing recruitment advertisements, and sending standard emails to unsuccessful applicants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining compliance records of Ochre cards, Driver's Licenses, AHPRA Registration, Police Checks.
  • Preparing draft Employment Contracts for new employees.
  • Providing high-level administration support.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current employment and human resource legislation.
  • Complying with all Anyinginyi policy and procedures.
  • Actively contributing to a professional and culturally safe work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Respect for traditional Aboriginal Culture and the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal people.
  • Understanding of recruiting and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and with limited supervision.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in recruitment/Human Resource administration or administration.
  • Knowledge of OH&S legislation and its application in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated experience in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
