About the Role

This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help lead the implementation and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project, focusing on external and customer user registration, authentication, authorization, and user profile management.
  • Work independently on competing and often urgent tasks to achieve agency CIAM outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective CIAM configurations.
  • Configure and manage CIAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
  • Optimize the CIAM solution for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Prioritize building automations and integrations to enhance CIAM capabilities and streamline user interactions.
Requirements
  • Strong experience and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing customer identity and access management solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with CIAM products such as Auth0, Okta, Forge Rock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent.
  • Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disabilities, aligning with the core purpose of the client.
  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
  • Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and have the ability to obtain baseline security clearance.
