**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and trainable individual to join our team as we enter an expansion phase. The position advertised is permanent full-time, located in Carole Park.

About the role:

Your primary objectives will be:

  • To perform unique fabrications within strict tolerances aided by state-of-the-art machinery and trade secret techniques.
  • Assist senior onsite technicians with installations of conveyor belting at major food and general production companies.
  • Support the fabrication team with preparing materials and stock for further processing.
  • Perform different splicing and vulcanising techniques on various belting materials.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Work safely and effectively, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Follow instructions effectively and coordinate activities with the workshop supervisor.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the fabrication workshop and customers' production facilities.
  • Work within a controlled environment.
  • Ensure all work areas/machines are clean at the end of the day.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Exhibit outstanding work ethic.
  • Be interested in learning new skills and working towards becoming a fully qualified belt technician.
  • Be prepared to work after hours and weekends on urgent breakdowns (if required).

The following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Forklift license.
  • Measuring capabilities using rulers and tape measures.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work.
