About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in managing and processing multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain employee records, including changes to employee conditions, salary sacrifice arrangements, and new starter setups.
  • Process quarterly Superannuation payments and assist with month-end reporting, including preparing payroll journals.
  • Handle and resolve payroll queries, providing exceptional customer service.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous payroll experience, with a strong foundation in payroll processes.
  • Desirable experience with payroll software, such as ADP, HumanForce, or Tanda.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects, with a knack for analyzing and processing large volumes of data.
