Job Description

We seek an experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our AI Powered Engineering function, collaborating with global engineers to enhance productivity through AI-assisted tools and capabilities.

You will work closely with top engineers and AI experts to develop training programs, culture, and experimentation strategies that maximize the use of emerging AI technologies, improving engineer happiness and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tackle complex problems from technical design to production, driving solutions that improve the engineering experience and efficiency.
  • Translate requirements into actionable engineering deliverables, delegating tasks to squad members while ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Rapidly experiment with emerging AI-assisted engineering tools, partnering with engineering squads across the organization to support real-world testing and analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions used by multiple teams and products.
  • Foster a data-driven, customer-centric mindset by building features that meet business needs and drive customer value.
  • Routinely address complex architecture challenges, defining architectural standards that align with business objectives.
  • Contribute to code delivery through leading code reviews, documentation, direct contribution, and bug fixing.
  • Mentor junior members, responsible for hiring great engineers and developing their career growth.
Requirements

A proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale, complex engineering initiatives with significant impact on business outcomes.

Strong working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in accelerating product development lifecycle, including Generative AI.

Commercial or side project experience in one or more of the following technologies: Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf/Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face.

Deep understanding of architectural patterns, cloud-native solutions on AWS & Azure, microservices architecture, solutions integration, and containerization.

Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to define long-term technical direction for teams and organizations.

Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with a passion for upskilling engineers and fostering a culture of innovation.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams, articulate trade-offs, and align technical decisions with business objectives.

Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging AI tools and integrate them into engineering workflows.

Proficiency in agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation from idea to prototype to pilot to product.

Expertise in full-cycle engineering using modern DevSecOps practices, IaC, and CI/CD tools.

Strong skills in working with large structured, unstructured, and semi-structured datasets.
