Leadership Opportunity in Student Residential Boarding Campus

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a key player in shaping the future of our student residential boarding campus. As a respected leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for liaising with feeder schools across northwest Queensland, ensuring seamless transitions for students from community to boarding and within various stages of schooling.
  • Identify opportunities, resolve issues, and enhance outcomes for students by leading and managing short and long-term planning and management of the residential boarding campus.
  • Address concerns or issues promptly and provide referrals to support services as necessary to ensure student well-being.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive community that enables students to thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and culturally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
