About Our Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical supports to people of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred active support in personal care, domestic assistance and social activities for clients
  • Develop and implement engaging programs to assist clients with access to the community
  • Provide emotional support, inspire and connect with clients to help them navigate challenges
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Adapt service delivery and support as appropriate to meet participant needs and goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a support worker or similar is preferred
  • Experience in manual handling, hoist and wheelchair operation is a must
  • Current valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Good communication skills in English
  • High level of time management and organisational ability
  • Certificate III and above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Service or Disability is an advantage

Working Conditions:

  • Shift work on a rostered basis from 7:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday
