Sacred Heart OSHC is a leading provider of out-of-school hours care in the heart of the Booval community. Our service is licensed up to 120 children and provides a safe, secure and welcoming environment for children to grow and develop.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic educator to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Educator at Sacred Heart OSHC, you will play a vital role in providing nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being, and creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education to primary school-aged childrenDevelop and implement engaging programs that promote learning and developmentMaintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholdersContribute to the overall success of the service by participating in staff meetings and training sessionsWork collaboratively with other educators to ensure the best outcomes for children and familiesRequirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Certificate III or Diploma qualification relevant to working with children (or higher)
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
