This key role within our cross-functional teams is responsible for navigating complex global supplier relationships, ensuring seamless integration between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering, quality, supply chain and legal functions to develop and implement strategies that improve supplier productivity, quality, and supply chain continuity.

A strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical supply chain management and procurement within an engineering/manufacturing environment is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex global supplier relationships while supporting our rapid growth and innovation objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Interface Management: Engage as the strategic interface between suppliers and internal teams to determine new and alternate sources for technology, components, and services across our product portfolio.
  • Supplier Technology Roadmap Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of supplier technology roadmaps and product pipelines, proactively identifying opportunities for engineering teams and facilitating direct communication between subject matter experts.
  • End-to-End Sourcing Coordination: Manage end-to-end sourcing coordination and processes for new product development including leading supplier selection, capability assessment, quality improvement, and supplier readiness initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier development roles
  • Knowledge of Design Processes: Knowledge of design, specification, testing, and quality control plan development in hardware manufacturing environments
  • Strong Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and new product introduction processes
