Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the timely completion of elution and gold recovery activities.
  • Operating all processing plant equipment relating to milling, CIL, crushing, and the elution circuit.
  • Monitoring and reporting on any security issues in and around the gold room.
  • Operating the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner.
  • Maintaining safe housekeeping standards and conducting regular inspections of the gold room.
  • Maintaining efficient and productive gold room processes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a gold room with experience operating an Acacia reactor.

Requirements

The requirements for this role are:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a gold room with experience operating an Acacia reactor.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) is desirable.
  • Confined Space Ticket and Working at Heights Ticket are desirable.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team.
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude.
  • Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
