About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Planner to join our busy team, responsible for managing a product portfolio and ensuring adequate supply to meet customer needs while minimizing working inventory investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a product portfolio, including maintaining accurate stock and supply position summaries, and flagging and resolving supply issues promptly.
- Review and optimize supply plans, placing purchasing orders, expediting or deferring orders as required, and processing invoices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating improved cost of goods and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Provide suppliers with rolling purchase forecasts and ensure they meet contract terms, including lead times and minimum component holding.
- Dual-source fully finished products from approved suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
