Our client is a contract manufacturer in the pharmaceutical industry. They are a rapidly growing business servicing complimentary medicine, OTC and food industries who pride themselves on being a partner of choice and providing excellent customer service. Due to business growth, they are now on the lookout for an experienced **Production planner** If you have experience as a production planner within the pharmaceutical industry, this role just might be for you

**What will you be doing?**
- Analysis of orders to prioritize, plan and schedule appropriate materials.
- Work with production department to ensure adequate inventory, materials and labour are available.
- Identify and communicate to internal and external stakeholders if there are any outstanding issues that will affect delivery.
- Issuing the production schedule.
- Track and report production performance.
- Following work instructions and standard operating procedures.

**What do you need?**
- At least 5 years experience working as a production planner
- Background experience in a pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous experience working in a GMP environment.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working to production targets.
- National police check or willing to obtain one.
