About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Support Worker to join our Parramatta Hub team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals with disability to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering person-centred programs to support clients to live independently and engage in meaningful opportunities
  • Working to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
  • Assisting and supporting clients with personal and hygiene care
  • Communicating with families about clients' progress
  • Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
About You

We are looking for a positive and energetic individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disability. You will have a flair for creativity, be organised, and demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience in the Disability sector and demonstrated knowledge of supporting high needs clients
  • Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care
  • Personal qualities of resilience, empathy, and self-confidence
  • High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect
  • Must have a driver's license and vehicle
