About the Role

">
  • To assemble aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings from supervisors and production staff.
  • Conduct work in line with standard job builds and SOPs.
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensuring work meets appropriate standards and is completed within time constraints.
  • Report broken or damaged machinery, tagging out problems correctly.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required and to specifications.
  • Avoid injuries by adhering to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules.
  • Participate in staff consultations and communications, including Toolbox Talks and training sessions.
  • This role involves assembling units at $65,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Location: NSW

Key Responsibilities

  • Lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment through physical and mechanical means.
  • Wear protective gear as necessary.
  • Engage in general physical activities, including climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking.
  • Perform whole body movements involving twisting, squatting, kneeling, bending, and crawling.
  • Engage in sustained physical activities.
  • Operate handheld tools and heavier machinery.
  • Work at heights or within confined spaces.

About You

  • A relevant trade qualification is required.
  • Health and Safety training is desirable.
  • Extensive fabrication experience is essential.
  • An understanding of Safe Work Practices is crucial.
  • Good communication skills are necessary.
  • Maintain attention to detail throughout your work.
