Coordinator Water and Sewer Strategy and Compliance

Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in facilitating the delivery of our medium- to long-term strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for implementing projects identified in our Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan, developing revised Asset Management and Development Servicing Plans, and contributing to our involvement in state-significant projects such as the Singleton Bypass and Lostock to Glennies Creek Pipeline.

As a member of our Combined Leadership Team, you will participate in organisational strategy development, discuss day-to-day operations with peers, and participate in professional development initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Our Strategic Coordinator will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Substantial experience and demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support staff and contractors to achieve work targets and objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated substantial ability to identify and contribute to process improvement at an operational and strategic level.
  • Proven ability to identify, collect, and analyse information and produce meaningful business-focused reports for sound decision-making.

It would be advantageous to demonstrate:

  • Meeting the requirements of the Regulatory Assurance framework for Local Water Utilities.
  • Experience with Water and Sewer Financial Modelling.
