Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the strategic direction of our business. In this role, you will work closely with leaders and managers to shape the delivery roadmap and priorities while fostering continuous improvement and a strong culture of agility, simplicity, and reliability.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the successful delivery of annual programs by influencing, governing, monitoring, and tracking progress and schedules.
  • Ensuring robust delivery execution across assigned portfolios, acting as a trusted business partner and providing reliable portfolio delivery advice.
  • Providing effective planning, monitoring, and oversight of strategically complex programs and projects within assigned portfolios.

You will also have opportunities to lead and optimize the implementation of portfolio management, develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, and ensure effective planning, monitoring, and delivery of programs and initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering, or other aligned field.
  • Extensive experience leading portfolios of programs, ideally within the IT / Telecommunications sector.
  • Demonstrated success in directly managing large, complex programs.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading delivery teams in matrix reporting environments.
  • Able to operate effectively in various environments and respond appropriately to unexpected circumstances.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships and influence desired outcomes.
  • Commercial and business awareness with a focus on delivering to internal or external customers.
