Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract management and administration client side
  • Budget control
  • Payment valuation and assisting the PM in payment certification
  • Actual cost forecasting and Defined Cost determination
  • Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues
Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional who has a wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water and/or Environment.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in pre- and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC and procurement within the UK water, environment, and nuclear sectors.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Full Membership of chartered body such RICS or a substantively progressed route on an approved APC pathway
  • Line Management and recruitment experience of Quantity Surveyors or Assistant Quantity Surveyors
  • CDM regulation knowledge and experience
  • Risk management experience
  • Valid CSCS card, with Water Hygiene Card desirable
  • Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client side
  • Site presence and co-location minimum 3 days a week
  • An experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have)
