We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Specialist to play a key part in ensuring the quality of digital products by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
About the Role- You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software for customer-facing applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, covering both UI and API layers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on testing needs.
- Log and manage bugs, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Encourage the adoption of modern testing practices and continuous integration strategies.
- Review automation code and offer constructive input to the team.
- Engage in agile ceremonies, including planning sessions and stand-ups.
Requirements:
- A strong background in retail industry experience is essential-you must have worked in testing roles within retail-focused environments.
- Proficiency in using Playwright or similar automation tools for both UI and API testing.
- Strong grasp of testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and CI/CD principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid working setup and contribute effectively to team goals.
