Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and enforcing statutory requirements related to plumbing and drainage installations within the building industry, as well as building strong relationships with the community and business owners.

This permanent full-time or temporary full-time position offers a competitive salary of $93,401 (full-time equivalent) or $49.55 per hour, plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and issue compliance permits for plumbing and drainage work to ensure compliance with Acts, Regulations and Council policy within legislated time frames.
  • Provide accurate and timely information and advice to owners, contractors, consultants, and tradespeople.
  • Independently inspect works in progress for compliance with the Plumbing and Drainage Regulation 2019.
  • Investigate and report on illegal plumbing and drainage matters.
Requirements
  • Current Queensland Plumbers and Drainer Licence
  • Construction Induction Training (White Card)
  • Current driver's licence
