Csiro is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral research fellow to lead cutting-edge research in the design of novel shape-morphing soft robots for reef rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new soft robotic systems combining state-of-the-art techniques in soft robotics, generative design, and machine learning.
- Conduct innovative research of strategic importance to Csiro, leading to novel and important scientific outcomes.
- Publish high-quality scientific papers and present research at top-ranked international conferences.
- Engage in outreach activities and present research to a wide variety of audiences.
- Doctorate in a relevant discipline area, such as Soft Robotics, Computational Design, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Experience in conducting research activities in a relevant topic area, including Soft Robotics, Marine Robotics, Machine Learning, and Generative Design.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a research team and communicate research outcomes effectively.
