Dam Improvement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to work as a Project Liaison on a significant dam improvement project in Queensland, based in the Toowoomba region.
The RoleThis is a minimum two-year contract and will be based on site. The construction includes embankment dam crest raising, free flow ogee spillway with chute and basin widening plus related works such as roads, diversion etc.
As the Project Liaison you will provide:
- Reviewing completed works and confirming that they have been delivered in accordance with the design intent and technical specifications.
- Providing responses to queries from the Contractor regarding design changes or site adaptations, with support from both the site team and the head office team.
- Working collaboratively with the Contractor to ensure the design is fully and correctly implemented on site.
- Supporting and assisting the Contractor in addressing methods and decisions where design considerations are involved.
You will possess:
- 15+ years' experience in a relevant field of expertise (embankment dam and related structures, construction/design)
- A degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Dam or Structural Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland and previous site experience is essential
