About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Future Energy Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in leading engineering analysis and developing solutions that support a power system with high Distributed Energy Resource (DER) penetration.

Job Description
  • Lead projects addressing power system challenges from increasing DER, including standards, compliance, and evolving behaviours.
  • Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, providing strategic advice for an integrated approach.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop technical positions and standards.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations translating complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Maths (with a focus on power systems), or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy.
  • Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarise complex data and insights.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, outcome-focused, and able to build constructive relationships.
