Job Description

The Seafood Merchandising and Training Representative is a key role responsible for developing seafood capabilities within grocery store deli teams. This involves providing training, coaching, and in-store support to ensure compliance with food safety standards, enhance customer engagement, and drive sales performance through improved product knowledge and merchandising execution.

This role requires strong retail or deli operations experience, preferably within the seafood or fresh categories. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship building skills, as well as commercial acumen and analytical skills to identify growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include delivering hands-on training to store managers, deli managers, and deli teams on seafood species, merchandise standards, product handling, and customer service excellence. Additionally, the representative will monitor and support adherence to company standards, analyze sales data, and foster strong relationships with store managers and deli teams.
