Health Promotion Professional

Alfred Health is a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne's inner southeast suburbs. As a Health Promotion Professional - Community Development, you will contribute to the development of best practice integrated health promotion across Caulfield Community Health Service (CCHS).
CCHS is part of Alfred Health and plays an integral role in Victoria's healthcare system. The service aims to support people to maximise their independence and functioning, and minimise long-term healthcare needs.
The Department of Home Acute and Community (HAC) oversees a diverse group of services promoting effective seamless care from acute care back into the community. These services are provided in hospital, community-based settings, and in people's homes.
About the Role:You will be responsible for developing and implementing health promotion projects and activities across priority education settings, including early learning services within the local community.
As a key component of CCHS services, health promotion is supported by the Department of Health and other funding streams. Your role will involve working closely with the Health Promotion Coordinator to implement and evaluate various CCHS health promotion strategies across priority areas.
About You:To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in health promotion, experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health promotion activities, and the ability to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders.
You will also have experience with contemporary health promotion theory and practice, including complex systems and settings-based approaches.
